Happy Easter!

or wait... do I have my dates wrong?
food for thought..

Here i am, back in Korea. Christmas this year has been quiet. I don't know about you guys, but we don't really have much of a Christmas celebration: after moving around different continents and adjusting to their culture, I guess you lose a little of your own. Heck, we didn't even get around to getting a Christmas tree! But it got me thinking. Christmas is indeed a special day, a day to be commemorated, not forgotten. Celebrated, not ignored. It is a day where we remember the ultimate sacrifice made for us. Yet, what do we do with the great gift, the greatest present given to us? We have been given Life Everlasting.
I went with a youth group for an hour to a subway station to sing carols and hand out candy canes with a gospel message attached. To tell you the truth, it was harder for me to stop a stranger in the street, say Merry Christmas and to offer them a candy cane and explain the story behind it, than it was for the junior highers. Matthew 18:3-4 struck me: "unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." I have assurance of salvation in my Savior. but there are a million other people out there that have assurance of damnation. (10 million in Seoul, actually.) Yes, it is weird to be one of those people that stand at the public transit stations and hand out tracts, and frankly, I don't like those people, being all pushy and stuffing flyers or tracts in my face. But do we truly have a love for the lost, if we brush shoulders with them every day on the bus and in elevators, if we do not pray for them? Our Savior came to earth as a helpless baby, lived and died, all so that we might have eternal life. It is our commission to not be complacently sitting on our hands and enjoying all that our Lord has done for us. It is our calling to be active in the battle for lost souls: especially this Christmas season, let us pray that the eyes of the people around us will be opened to their final destination.

Yum =D

So...I've been enjoying kitchenness since being home - maybe a little too much! Here is evidence of my most-recent kitchen foray: Christmas eve brunch!

Stefan helped me make waffles.

Eggs with tomatoes, orange peppers, and green onions...

Complete table setting and brunch: waffles, eggs, fruit topping (courtesy of mamma),
and fried turkey strips.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Edit: Posted a prayer from Valley of Vision on my blog. Check it out.

I love babies!

I said I would be busy. Too busy in fact to take a picture and upload it! Here is my newest adventure. I am crazy I fully admit, but I'm in paradise with these sweet little things all day. Early Sunday afternoon Scout finally had her first litter of puppies. 2 girls and 2 boys. Their names are Oliver, Dodger, Maylie, and Nancy. Know which book they're out of? 3 of the names give it away! If you've read the book, you may remember who the Maylies were . . .

Christmas Break & Prayer

Hey, all!

I asked most of you this while on campus... but how can I be praying for you? Both over Christmas break, and (since I will be absent) for the next year? Feel free to text me prayer requests as they come up during the semester, too :)

Love,
~Camille

Busy week

Hope you all are doing well on your finals thus far. I don't like finals. Study hard!

I am not so busy right now, but have plans on becoming super busy later . . . Not quite sure when that will be though, exactly. Maybe not till next week, but I doubt it. Any guesses? Maybe it's kinda obvious ;)

*Comment*

Hey Everyone! Thank you for posting your little and big lists of things you were thankful for. I wanted to comment on each one of you, but couldn't think of something different to say, so I'm doing one big ol' comment to you all :P They were supper fun to read and it was really fun trying to guess who posted before figuring it out when I got to the end. I was right on most of them . . . Not sure if anyone else had as much fun as I did hearing what meant the most to all of you. Funny to see what people really value :) Take care and enjoy your last couple of weeks at Masters! Happy studying. I am so thankful I am at home right now and NOT STUDYING for finals!!!!!! hahahahaha!!!!! Sorry, I just had to rub it in a little ;)
